واوضح القسم في بيان اصدرته الهيئة اليوم ان محافظات بغداد وديالى ونينوى كان لها النصيب الاكبر من الاعتقالات التعسفية ؛ حيث جاءت بغداد التي تم فيها اعتقال (442) شخصا في المرتبة الاولى ، تلتها ديالى التي شهدت اعتقال (270) ، ثم محافظة نينوى (247) ، تليها محافظة صلاح الدين (202) ، ثم التأميم (142) ، فالبصرة (105) ، ثم بابل (90) معتقلا، ثم الانبار (80) ، وميسان (64) ، فمحافظتي النجف وكربلاء سبعة معتقلين لكل منهما، فواسط ستة معتقلين، وأخيرا محافظة ذي قار اربعة معتقلين.
