حقوقنا لن تسقط بالتقادم
سبع سنوات من العنف والترهيب والقتل والتدمير والسرقة والنهب والفساد والمصادرة والإقصاء والتمييز والإفقار وتصحير العراق من الحياة بينما منظمات حقوق الإنسان والمنظمة الدولية وملحقاتها والنظام العربي وجامعته يعاقرون الصمت وكأن ما يجري في العراق إنما يجري في كوكب لم يكتشف بعد .
قمة عربية تنعقد وقمة تنهي أعمالها والعراق خارج أروقتها ومآدب ملوكها وأمرائها ورؤسائها ...
لكن الطفلة عبير قاسم أبت إلا أن تدمغ جبين الغزاة بوشم العار , فانتصرت بموتها على القتلة الغاصبين , وجعلت من آذار عيدا لشهيدات العراق .
أية مصادفة أن تمر ذكرى غزو العراق في آذار من كل عام مع ذكرى اغتصاب حياة عبير وكرامتها ! إن الغزو يعبر عن حقيقته , وكما دمغت عبير جبينه بالعار دمغت بناتنا ونساؤنا المسبيات جبين التابعين بوشم العار الذي سيلاحقهم مهما طال الزمن حتى وان حملوا الجنسية العراقية أي مذهب أو عرق كانوا وأية عباءة لبسوا وأي حزب مثلوه أو تيار أو كتلة ...
إن حق عبير لن يسقط بالتقادم ولن تسقط حقوق نسائنا المستباحة , كما لن يسقط حق شعبنا ولا حق العراق بالتقادم .
انه الوعد الذي تعاهدنا من اجل الإيفاء به. نحن نساء عراقيات لم يشوش بصائرنا تزييف الوعي وإعادة تسليع المرأة " بالكوتا " التي جعلت من نساء " البرلمان " أتباع من تاجروا بالعراق والشعب , فخرست ضمائرهم أمام مشهد موت عبير وأسرتها , وماتت قلوبهم أمام الجرائم التي ارتكبت ضد النساء والأطفال والرجال لا فرق .
انه الوعد الذي ألزمنا أنفسنا به بتعميق النضال من أجل استرجاع حقوق شهيداتنا التي لن تسقط بالتقادم ولا بالتزوير والتزييف .
انه عيد مضاف إلى أعياد المرأة في 20 آذار من كل عام ... عيد الشهيدة العراقية وقد أطلقته هيئة إرادة المرأة في آذار منذ عام 2009
تذكر به الطغاة ... بعاقبة طغيانهم .
Abeer’s Day and the invasion's anniversary; 20th March 2010
Seven years of violence, killing, destruction, pillaging, impoverishment, abuse, desperation, displacement and depriving Iraq of its own resources are met with a deafening silence by the international institutions, international human rights bodies. As if what is going on in Iraq, is taking place on a different planet.
One Arab states’ summit after another, excluding Iraq from their meetings and banquets’ agenda.
They have no dignity, they have no shame.
Abeer Qassim Hamza the 14 year old, gang raped and murdered in Mahmoudiya four years ago, has disgraced the occupiers and their silent stooges. Our abused women have shamed the collaborators both men and women from all ‘political’ blocs and currents.
Time will pass but the validity of our demand for justice will not wane. Our rights and the rights of all Iraqis will not be lost with time.
We the free spirited Iraqi women, not duped by Paul Bremmer’s women quota and not mislead by his rhetoric. The ‘Iraqi parliament’s babes’ are images without conscious or consciousness, but instruments for the major political players' agenda that coincides with the occupiers'.
We remind the aggressors and oppressors that their actions generate reaction and consequences, they should fear the judgement of history.
On the day of Abeer, the day for all Iraqi women martyrs, and the anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, we hereby declare we will never give up the fight for our rights, for justice for our women martyrs, for freedom of our country. These rights are all intertwined.
