تقرير لأحد نواب التيار الصدري يؤكد وقوع اعتداءات جنسية ضد معتقلين
بغداد - أ ف ب - كشف نائب عراقي في تقرير قدمه أمس، أمام مجلس النواب عن وقوع حالات تعذيب واعتداء جنسي ضد معتقلين في أحد معتقلات وزارة الداخلية.
وأوضح النائب فلاح شنشل وهو نائب عن التيار الصدري (30 مقعداً) أن «11 معتقلاً تعرضوا إلى تعذيب واعتداءات جنسية في أحد مقرات وزارة الداخلية»، لافتاً الى أنه «زار المعتقل برفقة لجنة حقوق الانسان، وتأكدوا من وقوع اعتداءات جنسية على المعتقلين من ضباط التحقيق». وذكر أن «جميع المعتقلين متهمون بحرق سيارة أحد المسؤولين في وزارة الداخلية». وأكد أن «اللجنة شاهدت آثار التعذيب على أجساد المعتقلين الذين منعت عائلاتهم من زيارتهم منذ ستة شهور وجرى تثبيت ذلك في التقرير». وطالب رئيس الوزراء بإرسال «لجنة حقوق الانسان إلى وزارة الداخلية لتقدم تقريراً مفصلاً عن الموضوع».
من جهته، قدم النائب عامر ثامر تقرير اللجنة وذكر فيه «أن اللجنة زارت معتقلات في حضور لجنة حقوق الانسان في وزارة الداخلية وشاهدنا مناظر مؤلمة وانتهاكات خطيرة وآثار تعذيب واضحة على اجساد المعتقلين». وأشار الى «اجبار المعتقلين على التوقيع على إفادات أُعدت مسبقاً بعدما وُثقت أيديهم الى الخلف، وفاتحنا الادعاء العام بعرضهم للفحص وتشكيل لجنة تحقيق ولم يحدث ذلك. وحتى الآن، لم تتخذ الوزارة أي اجراءات اثر حدوث هذه الانتهاكات. ولم يتسن الحصول على تأكيد من وزارة حقوق الانسان في خصوص هذا الأمر. وطالب العبيدي بـ «تشكيل لجنة حيادية من وزارتي الداخلية وحقوق الانسان للعمل بإشراف ومسؤولية اللجان المختصة في المجلس وتحديد مدة لحسم هذا الملف».
Iraqi MPs demand probe after prison torture claims
BAGHDAD (AFP) — Iraqi MPs called for an independent inquiry into reported cases of torture, rape and death in the country's prisons during a long debate in parliament on the subject on Thursday.
Lawmakers from several parties, both Sunni and Shiite, made the demands in footage aired on Iraqi television.
"I demand a committee of inquiry made up of members of the parliamentary committees on human rights, defence and security," Sunni MP Salim al-Juburi said.
The National Concord Front lawmaker said "there were violations that resulted in the deaths of detainees" in two prisons in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad.
Juburi did not say how many detainees had died, or how they died.
"Eleven prisoners were victims of torture and sexual abuse in a building run by the interior ministry," said Falah Shanshel, who belongs to a bloc loyal to radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
"I visited a prison with officials from the human rights ministry and they were certain that detainees were subjected to sexual abuse by interrogators," he said.
The MP cited signs of torture on detainees' bodies.
"We have seen serious violations, obvious signs of torture," Amir Thamir of the governing United Iraqi Alliance added. He said some detainees "were forced to sign previously written confessions."
Several MPs called on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to establish an inquiry into the allegations as soon as possible.
